A few words about the “Digital Transformation of SMEs” Action

The “Digital Transformation of Small and Medium Enterprises” Action is part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan Greece 2.0, and aims at enhancing the digital maturity of the country’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in order to modernize their production, commercial and administrative operations.

The €442.4 million project has been put into the final stage by the Information Society and went on air on 22 June 2022!

The Action to support SMEs for the purchase/utilisation of digital products and services and their general support for their digital transformation is divided into three (3) sub-programmes of State Aid:

Programme I: “Digital MME Tools”,

Programme II: “Development of Digital Products and Services”,

Programme III: “Digital Transactions”.

Programme I “Digital Tools for MMEs” provides vouchers to be made available for the acquisition, through purchase or lease, of new digital products and services in order to enhance the digital maturity of the country’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through the use of various digital tools.

Through Programme II “Development of Digital Products and Services”, with a budget of €100 million, digital investments will be subsidised in the form of a non-reimbursable grant of between €200,000 and €2 million for the development of cloud infrastructure and services.

Finally, Programme III “Digital Transactions”, which will also take the form of includes the upgrade or replacement of cash registers, as well as the replacement of old POS machines.
