Company milestones

  1. 2019 — Foundation: NEWCO S.A. incorporated in Athens, Greece. Core team assembled around the vision: blockchain as industrial infrastructure.
  2. 2021 — Tap2SOS Launch: First commercial deployment of the Tap2SOS NFC medical wristband. Blockchain-secured patient data accessed in under 2 seconds.
  3. 2022 — Blockchain Certificates Launch: Launch of the document certification platform on the COTIC blockchain. First institutional partners in Greece and Cyprus onboarded.
  4. 2023 — Smart Shielding Pilots: IoT smart seal pilots deployed with Greek energy distribution operators. Blockchain-backed tamper records structured to meet legal evidentiary standards under Greek law.
  5. 2024 — EU Research Partnerships: Selected for the COMFORTage Horizon Europe project. EHTEL collaboration on Virtual Human Digital Twins for healthcare.
