What NEWCO does
NEWCO S.A. is an Athens-based Industry 4.0 company, founded in 2019, that builds trust infrastructure from blockchain, AI and IoT. Its three products are Tap2SOS, an NFC wristband and hospital application that gives first responders access to a patient's emergency data; Blockchain Certificates, which registers a cryptographic fingerprint of each document on the COTIC blockchain so third parties can verify it; and Smart Shielding, IoT smart seals that record tampering with energy meters and logistics containers. NEWCO also takes part in European research consortia in digital health and digital identity.

Blockchain integrity records
NEWCO's portfolio describes recording a cryptographic fingerprint (hash) of a document or event with a timestamp on its blockchain record layer. Verification compares a newly computed fingerprint with that record.
