Tap2SOS closes that gap. Our NFC-enabled medical wristband stores a patient's core health data: name, chronic conditions, allergies, current medication, and emergency contacts. When a smartphone taps the wristband, this data is retrieved instantly — no app installation required, no internet dependency.

The data itself is secured on the COTIC blockchain. This means it is cryptographically verifiable: a first responder can trust that what they are reading has not been altered and reflects the patient's actual, up-to-date medical profile.

Tap2SOS is designed for people who most need it — elderly individuals, those with chronic conditions, patients with cognitive impairments, and anyone who spends time in environments where emergencies may be unwitnessed. It is already deployed in Greece, with pilots in healthcare settings underway.

The wristband pairs with a secure patient portal where users or their caregivers update their health data. Access is controlled: emergency data is visible to any NFC-capable device, while detailed records require authenticated access. Privacy and availability are in balance — by design.
